I’m a sound enthusiast and curator with a deep-rooted passion for underground music and sonic storytelling. My journey started in 1998, digging through crates and spinning vinyl in basements and back rooms. By 2001, I was performing "professionally", crafting sets that blend genres and inviting listeners into immersive, emotional soundscapes.
In 2006 and 2007, I worked at Foundation Nightclub in Minneapolis one of the Midwest’s most respected venues for underground electronic music. There, I collaborated with a range of artists. I seen first had what creates loyalty amongst those in our industry, the details matter, a solid foundation to work from, and keeping your sound on point. I was fortunate to work with Zak aka DVS1, an owner( s) at Foundation Nightclub at that time, his work ethic and refusal to compromise on the sound principle are legendary. Now an internationally renowned techno DJ and sound engineer, he continuously delivers using these basic principles.. That experience solidified my dedication to high-fidelity audio, deep mixing, and precision in live performance.
The Redlense Podcast is where that legacy continues. It’s a curated platform for deep house, downtempo, techno, jazz-infused beats, and experimental sound design. Each mix is designed to take you on a journey whether you’re riding through the night or unwinding with headphones.
